2020 Future Generations Golf Tournament at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club honoring

Reverend Andy Anderson and the Crown Park Life Skills Experience

We are pleased to announce that the First Tee of Coastal Carolinas is forging ahead with our 2020 Future Generations Tournament on July 28th at the Caledonia Golf & Fish Club.  The Honorees for this year’s event, co-hosted again by Charlie Rymer and Kelly Tilghman, are Reverend Andy Anderson and the Crown Park Life Skills Experience program. The FGT sponsorship information and application are below.  We hope you are able to again sponsor a team for our premiere event, featuring 30 of our great First Tee youth and young adults. For those of you who are sports-starved, click on the links below to learn more about our Crown Park LSE program and to watch a great golf match pitting Charlie and Hayden Rymer against Program Director Patrick O’Brien and Chris Abraham at Caledonia. Charlie Rymer Caledonia 1.0   Rev. Andy - Crown Park It goes without saying that we need your support during this challenging year.  Fortunately, the First Tee of Coastal Carolinas is weathering this crisis and will be back in action soon with our Summer youth programs. In sync with the reopening of the local economy, we are planning to roll out our Summer youth programming, with a heavy emphasis on safe golf that we are now practicing on the Grand Strand.  We have surveyed many parents, and most are ready to have their kids return to First Tee programming as long as we focus on their safety. Nationally and locally, we are focused on providing a safe and healthy environment for our youth, parents and volunteers in keeping with the recommendations of the CDC and We Are Golf initiatives which are outlined in the Back2Golf and the First Tee Play It Safe guidelines. Times like this make us realize how important the First Tee and our Values are as we all support each other with Respect, Courtesy, Responsibility, Honesty, Sportsmanship and Integrity, and have the Confidence and Perseverance to lead utilizing our good Judgment.   We call them Life Skills.  The Future Generations Tournament will incorporate these guidelines as they apply in July.
